Wear Your Team Colors & Join the “Winter Thaw” Festival Thursday, January 23
All Winter Visitors are invited to attend the first annual Winter Thaw Festival on Thursday, January 23, at the Sonoran Lifestyle Real Estate courtyard, 16824 E. Avenue of the Fountains. The event will begin at 5:00 pm, following the Art on the Avenue and Farmer’s Market held on that day along the Avenue.
The Thaw Festival is an opportunity for Winter Visitors to meet others visiting the area, and especially from their own home state. All are welcome and guests are encouraged to wear their favorite team or state-specific clothing and to bring paraphernalia that can be shared. Guests are also encouraged to bring their personal greeting cards with contact information to share with new (or old) friends they will meet.
“We’ll provide some mixer style opportunities for folks to get to know each other, but this is entirely a social opportunity to meet others from your home state,” adds Dori Wittrig, President of Sonoran Lifestyle Real Estate.
“We’re also encouraging guests to check out our fabulous Farmer’s Market and Art on the Avenue event before-hand to really make a day of it.
A large US map will be on hand to identify hometowns and guest names. Specialty foods from the northern regions will be served along with beverages.
