Toddlers, birth to 3-years-old, are invited to join us each Thursday morning for age-appropriate stories, activities, & crafts. This month’s theme is “Mother Goose.” Conference Room. PAWS 2 READ

October 4 & 18 (Saturdays) 10-11:30 a.m.

Ages 4-12. Paws 2 Read pairs registered therapy animals, such as Roy (a Yellow Lab) and Yankee (a Goldendoodle), and their handlers with young readers. These dogs love to be read to and enjoy the company of children. Participants increase their reading levels and word recognition naturally, without intimidation, and develop a greater desire to read. LIGHTBULB LAB—MYSTICAL MIRRORS

Ages 5-8. For many years mirroring was considered some kind of magic. We now know that mirrors reflect light according to physics rules. TWEENS WRITE-ON

Ages 9-12. Looking for a fun way to express yourself? Write-On! is a self-directed, creative writing activity. Tweens have a chance to write poetry, secret codes, cartoon captions, and much more! Chain Reaction is a group of teens with an interest in creating videos.
