June #7April Bower AspensThe Fountain Hills Artist’s Gallery bustles with activity during our winter and spring season.  But in summer, a number of their amazing artists invite the “budding artists” among us to participate in a number of interesting classes to create classic works of art on our own.

 

Learn the art of silver leafing to create a unique painting on copper from renowned metal artist, April Bower. You will have the opportunity to create your own picture, plus some simple tricks to give your trees a natural look and gold leaf for the shimmering essence of aspen leaves. 11”x14” is the size of your metal painting.

Class is limited to 8 students; prior registration is required.  No experience necessary.  75.00 includes instruction and all supplies

Become a Junior Ranger

Bring your kids, aged 4-12 (with an adult) out to the park for this “on your own” program.  Stop by the Ranger Center after 7:30 am and pick up the Junior Ranger booklet.  Head outside to complete the activities. When the activities are complete, return to the Ranger Center to pick up your certificate.
