After what seemed like a never-ending finals season, winter break is finally here! Let’s face it being, a student is exhausting! Having to deal with your classes, study groups, pop-quizzes, and exams can make a person’s head spin. It’s time to put away those gigantic textbooks and enjoy some down time. Here are three fun activities to do in Fountain Hills that will reboot you this Winter Break:

The Fountain Hills Public Library is hosting a Blackout Bash for Teens on December 16^th. Bring your glow stick and join in all the fun after the library closes at 5:30 pm for some glow-in-the dark fun from playing Twister, decorating glow in the dark cupcakes, and hanging out with your friends.

The Fountain Hills Theater is hosting a “Winter Break” Theater Camp from December 19^th– 30^th for students from the ages of 7 to 15. All areas of theater will be explored to the performance and staging. This a great opportunity to instill an appreciation for the theater and to experience activities that build self-confidence and mastery of public speaking.

On December 29^th, the Fountain Hills Public Library will be ringing in the New Year and celebrate in the end of 2016 by inviting you to grab a cookie and mug of hot chocolate between 1pm to 4 pm.
