The 2017 Waste Management Phoenix Open, known as “The Greatest Show on Grass” will return to the TPC Scottsdale from January 30th– February 5th. The Phoenix Open is one of the best-attended golf tournaments in the world. This year’s edition of the open will mark the 82nd playing of the event on the PGA Tour, and eighth as the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Spectators from all over the world travel to Scottsdale to catch a slice of the madness that other PGA tournaments never see.
The Phoenix Open has gained legendary status for being one of the most unique stops on the PGA Tour. The world-renowned 16th hole is known for its noise, costumes, and party atmosphere. Some players love it, others not so much. But you know who loves everything about it? The fans!

Located at the TPC Scottsdale Putting Green, the Special Olympics Open Features Special Olympian athletes, celebrities or sports stars and business leaders from the community. The event is open to all ticket holders and media and lasts about an hour.
2:00 p.m. — PGA TOUR Wives Classic
Located at TPC Scottsdale’s Champions Course, the PGA TOUR Wives Classic features PGA TOUR wives competing in a friendly 9-hole shootout for charity, while their PGA TOUR pro husbands will serve as caddies for the day – carrying golf bags, raking bunkers and tending flags for their wives, all for charity. The event is open to the public.
