2017 MEMORIAL CHAMPIONSHIP DISC GOLF PRO TOUR

MARCH 1-4, 2017

Part of the “Greening of Fountain Hills” project in Fountain Park was designed to improve the Park’s Disc Golf facilities so they would meet and exceed competitive standards. So it is with great pride that the Town once again is host to one of the largest and most prestigious professional Disc Golf competitions in the US. Did you know
that there are not only pro men and women Disc golfers, but the Disc Golf Pro tour even has a fantasy Disc Golf league!

The Memorial Championship presented by Discraft kicks off the 2017 Disc Golf Pro Tour season. Come on out and watch over 600 of the World’s best disc golfers compete for over $150,000 in cash and prizes!   The event is free to the public, but please be cautious around course and courteous to players

MOUNTAIN TO FOUNTAIN 15K & 5K RACE

March 5, 2017

The Mountain to Fountain 15K/5K is a premier race in Fountain Hills, AZ. With a strong elite field, “win your weight in beer” team competition, and even a free kids’ race. Each race finisher will receive a beautiful medal depicting the Town’s iconic Fountain silhouetted against the surrounding mountains.Sign up a team of 4 and your team could win one scoring team members weight in beer!

One random team and the team with the most number of members will also be selected to win a special prize! Prior registration is required.
