For those eager to be outside, McDowell Mountain Regional Park certainly has no shortage of guided hiking opportunities. So, pack your bag, bring a lot of water to balance out the triple-digit temperatures, and get ready to kick off summer by hitting the trails.
Friday Fitness Hike Wagner Trailhead – June 2, 2017 Join Kevin B. on this week’s hike that will begin from the Wagner Trailhead, a beautiful trail that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. Hiking distance will be between 8 to 12 miles. Meet at 6:00 am, and make sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, comfortable shoes, and clothing.

Need views of Four Peaks in the distance? This week’s hike will take your breath away. Join Kevin B. has he leads this hike through the beautiful Dixie Mine Trailhead, through rolling hills, views that are second to none, and a variety of cacti and lush vegetation. Meet at the Dixie Mine Trailhead at the end of Golden Eagle Blvd at 6:00 am. Don’t forget to bring $2.00 for the park entry fee, plenty of water, snacks, and comfortable hiking gear.
