Fountain Hills School District is coming to the end of their school year but there is still so much going on!
If you like to be involved with children of all ages from Kindergarten to High School Seniors then there are still opportunities to help our schools.
The FHUSD has had a lot to celebrate this school year!
The Varsity Girls Soccer won the Division III State Championship which was a first time event for our District. The Lady Falcons had an undefeated season. The Senior goalie for the Falcons will graduate next week and is set to attend a Division 1 University to play soccer.
Ladies Basketball also had an outstanding season this year that also saw them win the State Championship! This was also a first ever win of the State Championship for our ladies basketball program. They beat their rival Valley Christian at Jobing.com Arena 51-36!
Boys Varsity Baseball won their State Championship last year, and are currently on their way to the Semi-Finals Friday May 16th against Palo Verde Magnet. They have a season of 24-4, so this season could very well be another great finish for the Falcon Baseball Team!!
The Track and Field team in Fountain Hills has had a very successful weekend with Trista Smith claiing Division III State Title in Pole Vault! She cleared 11 ft, which was enough to beat her own school record. A slew of other school records were beaten this weekend on the track with Girls 4×400 relay and 4×100 Girls relay.
The FHHS Band plays at a national level and has been recognized again this year for their great accomplishments. Director Lynn Truby drives her band to be the very best. During the Fall, come out to a football game and watch the band perform at half time! Along with the Color Guard, you will not be disappointed!
