No other Town has “Community Spirit” quite like Fountain Hills, and the Falcon’s annual Homecoming parade celebrates that spirit in grand style!  Hundreds of Falcon fans don their Royal Blue shirts and line the Avenue of the Fountains to celebrate our town’s talented Fall Sports Teams.  Our award winning band, accompanied by this year’s Cheer and Flag troops are as good as you will find anywhere, and will undoubtedly underscore this year’s theme ‘California Dreamin.’  Each float is more unique than the last, representing hundreds of hours of volunteer time by our student clubs, sponsors and volunteers.

Little ones rocket out of the crowd to gather the candy thrown from the floats and marching groups, then scramble back to the curb to get ready for the next delight in line.  Scout troops, firemen, street performers, and of course, our local heroes of the hour—the 2015 Falcon Varsity Football squad—the toast of the pep rally to follow.

falconThen, for a real jolt of community pride, come cheer on the team at the annual Homecoming Game on Friday, October 2nd against Casa Grande.  For more Fall Sports schedules, go to Falcon Calendar.

Fountain Hills Homecoming: A Hometown Tradition on Avenue of the Fountains

falconTime to dust off your pompoms and come support the hometown team!  It’s time again for Homecoming in Fountain Hills!  The annual Homecoming Parade, featuring all Fall Sports Teams, competition floats from each class, musical bands and dignitaries, will roll down Avenue of the Fountains on Wednesday, September 24th at 5:30 pm.

Yes…we said AVENUE OF THE FOUNTAINS….the soon to be completely improved (but not quite finished) Avenue that will feature new water features, landscape, art installations and lighting.

Fountain Hills is blessed with an active athletic booster club staffed by parents and volunteers and assists in every aspect of the school district’s sports-related efforts.  The combined efforts of everyone from coaches, to student athletes and the Falcon Booster Club made the community a standout at the State Level, with many of our teams enjoying state championships during the 2013-14 school year.

Our Special Thanks to Boosters Eleanor Tornee and Kim Quigly for their guidance on the Homecoming Parade this year…You ladies are part of what makes Fountain Hills such a special town!

Bands, Floats, Royalty Courts and More Await You at Fountain Hills Homecoming Parade, 2012

Admit it!  You have fond memories of your high school homecoming event…the parade, bonfire and after game dance!

The Fountain Hills High School Falcons invite you to relive those memories and share in the camaraderie of a good old fashioned Homecoming Parade, Wednesday, September 26, on Avenue of the Fountains.  The parade begins at 5:30 pm and offers all the rowdy, competitive fun 300-400 high schoolers can rev up.  There will be bands, floats, sports teams, cheerleaders and yes, even royalty courts.  After the parade, enjoy an old fashioned pep rally and then get ready for the big game Friday evening with a tailgating opportunity at Fountain Hills High School.
