Ages 4-12. Paws 2 Read pairs registered therapy animals, such as Roy (a Yellow Lab) and Yankee (a Goldendoodle), and their handlers with young readers. These dogs love to be read to and enjoy the company of children. Participants increase their reading levels and word recognition naturally, without intimidation, and develop a greater desire to read.
