Disney’s Aladdin ‘Jr’ Opens this week in Fountain Hills

 

Fountain Hills Youth Theater;  September 25 –October 11;  Friday and Saturday, 7 p.m.; Sunday 2 p.m.

With a tuneful Academy award-winning score, with songs by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman, and Tim Rice, including “A Whole New World” and “Friend Like Me,” will send audiences soaring.

Fountain Hills Youth Theater is a year-round learning environment for theater-loving youngsters.  The summer classes for tots thru teens 3-18 years, cover all theater aspects from dancing, singing, and performing to the full range of costuming, stagecraft and for some, an opportunity to compose, script and arrange performances.  Fall and spring classes have now been added, and scholarship opportunities are available. http://www.fhtaz.org/youth-education/

Check out a new run of “The Man Who Came To Dinner” that is now playing. This play is a classic that is centered around Sheridan Whiteside, theatre critic, lecturer and radio personality, he slips on the doorstep of the palatial Stanley home in the Midwest. What follows is 6 weeks of recuperation complete with a mummy sarcophagus, love triangles, schemes, impersonators and hijinks.

The play times are Thursday, Friday & Saturday at 8pm and a Matinee on Sunday at 2 pm from April 4th – 20th

 

Broadway Jukebox!

This original musical was written by Peter J. Hill of the Fountain Hills Theatre. This interactive musical pulls the audience in by letting each audience member pick 3 songs from the 125 listed show tunes, the most popular picks will make up the evening’s performance!jukebox
