Fountain Hills Town Council Hopefuls To Meet at Forum on July 22, 2014
Fountain Hills residents take the “power of one” very seriously when voting for our Town Council. From potholes to public safety, our Fountain Hills Town Council and Mayor are elected to debate and decide the priorities and projects for the Town.
The four candidates vying for two positions on council are Lina Bellenir, Nick DePorter, Henry Leger and Alan Magazine. Each candidate will present his or her position on Town issues and will answer a number of questions from attendees. Similar to questions presented in regular Council meetings, the questions are written and presented prior to the beginning of the candidate platform presentations.
The tradition of showcasing the positions of Council candidates began with the first elected Council in Fountain Hills. The Fountain Hills Civic Association has since merged with the Cultural Council, and this important tradition is carried forward by the Fountain Hills Cultural and Civic Association, ( FHCCA).
