FOUNTAIN HILLS FAMOUS SAINT PATRICK’S DAY CELEBRATION
Sunday, March 17, Fountain Park; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Gather at the Fountain Park Amphitheater on St. Patrick’s Day to enjoy Irish music, corned beef and cabbage and a beer garden. In a tradition that dates back to the early 1980s, watch as the World Famous Fountain turns emerald green at noon to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! The event is presented by Sons of AMVETS Squadron #7 in cooperation with the Town of Fountain Hills.
Admission to the Beer Garden is $5.00 for adults 21 and older, but as many as 5,000 people from across the Valley gather to see and photograph the amazing sight of the Green ountain, which is visible from as far as 30 miles away. Nearly all Fountain Hills restaurants get into the act, with nearly a ton of corned beef consumed in honor of “the Wearin’ of the Green.”
