The River of Time Museum is hosting its annual Italian Dinner at 5:00 pm on August 12th, 2017 at the Fountain Hills Community Center. The evening will begin with dinner catered by Phil’s Filling Station, and a silent auction. The live auction will begin at 6:30 pm with State Senator John Kavanagh acting as auctioneer. A variety of items will be auctioned from collectibles, helicopter ride to the Four Peaks Mine, and a trip on Saguaro Lake for two by the Maricopa Sherriff’s Office.

There are numerous opportunities for the community to get involved by supporting the Italian Dinner. Businesses that are interested can become a museum sponsor with a $500 contribution. Museum sponsors will have their name displayed on promotional pieces, receive a full-page ad, and two tickets to the dinner. If you would like to donate, new collectible auction items are being accepted Tuesday-Saturday from 10 am to 2pm at the Museum Gift Shop. Volunteers are needed to fill in for a variety of positions before, during, and after the dinner.

Advance tickets are available for $20 each, and can be purchased online, and a variety of establishments across town such as Brooklyn Bedding, Sami’s Fine Jewelry, Fountain Fashions, and EuroPizza. Tickets at the door are $25 each. For more information about the Italian Dinner, contact the museum at (480) 837-2612.
