Thursday Farmer’s Market is Back for the Season on Avenue of the Fountains! Stop by!

We are so excited!  The Thursday Farmer’s Market and Art on the Avenue ARE BACK!

Open air markets are one of the blessings of outdoor living in our beautiful Sonoran Desert foothills.  And like all local markets, there is a symbiotic relationship between the support of locals who frequent the market and the vendors who sell their one-of-a-kind products…More loyal patrons=greater number and variety of vendors.

The opening of the market is a great time to welcome our vendors back, and to take advantage of the pedestrian-friendly additions to Fountain Hills most pedestrian friendly parks.

Phnx Connection - one of the wearable art vendorsLocal and regional artists line the walkway on the east end of the Avenue, and are anxious to show their newest creations to their fans.  Always a favorite venue for visiting friends and relatives, this show packs a double punch as it brings hundreds of winter visitors from around the valley to shop and munch their way up and down the Avenue.

Red onions MarketThe Farmer’s Market vendors set up on the west end of the Avenue. The new picnic tables, shade structures and seating lets shoppers enjoy their pastries and coffee, or even lunch provided by a variety of Market vendors. Arizona has a long and varied growing season, and our vendors bring farm-fresh produce, herbs, and a variety of home-made salsas, jams, and chutneys. Gourmet salts, vinegars, oils and other condiments are great for cooking and gifting.

With hundreds of competing venues, the support of our Market patrons makes it possible for many of our farmers to make a 70+ mile round trip from their farm to the Avenue.

To all of you who make Thursday “Market Day in Fountain Hills” they offer a hearty thanks, and look forward to your return.

Remember there is free parking in the lot north of Sonoran Lifestyle Real Estate. Help us welcome Art on the Avenue and the Farmers Market back to the Avenue on October 29, and drop in and show us the treasures you’ve found at the Market.

Thursdays, October through April.  11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Avenue of the Fountains
