Why You Should See “Love Letters”At The Fountain Hills Theater This Week

Fountain Hills Theater’s “Love Letters” Features Local Celebrity Couples

Love Letters is a funny and poignant tale of what could have been, of friendship that sustained through the years, and an affirmation of the adage that first love is the hardest to forget. Two friends, rebellious Melissa Gardner and straight-arrow Andrew Makepeace Ladd III have exchanged notes, cards and letters with each other for over 50 years. Through these messages we follow them  from second grade, through summer vnowplayingacations, to college, and well into adulthood and discover that though they have spent a lifetime physically apart, perhaps, they are spiritually as close as only true lovers can be.

Each week’s performance features a different celebrity couple, starting with Kurt and Brenda Warner on January 5, 2017, and wrapping up with Mayor Linda and State Senator, John Kavanaugh. Call the theater for tickets, and enjoy a delightful evening in this interesting tribute to lasting love.

Please Note:  Each couple performs one evening only.

Elf Logo SonoanThere’s no better way to kick of the Holiday Season than the Fountain Hills “Stroll in The Glow,” bringing the town together to celebrate all things festive, including the recently renovated Avenue of The Fountains center median.  Shops on the Avenue stay open late and many offer treats for their visitors. There are musicians that stroll the Avenue to provide a festive mood, a live nativity, petting zoo and then, just after dark, the lighting ceremony culminates with the Avenue of The Fountains glowing amid thousands of lights in holiday trees and festive scenes.

30th Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade Comes to Fountain Hills

Parada de Los Cerros   “Parade in the Hills”  Thanksgiving Day 9:00 am on Saguaro Boulevard

2010 Parade-79There’s nothing like a good parade to kick off the holiday season. The annual Thanksgiving Day parade, themed “Frosty & Friends in Fountain Hills” promises that and much more!

Put your turkey in the oven and come to downtown Fountain Hills for the best Thanksgiving Parade in Arizona (alright…it’s the only one in Arizona, but who’s counting!)

Thanksgiving is a time of family and friends here in Fountain Hills, and for the past 30 years, we’ve kicked off the holiday festivities with a parade that would make any New Yorker proud (okay, maybe we don’t have the Snoopy Dog on a tether!)

The Parade is full of local groups that come out to support our Town. The High School Marching Band provides some of their award winning music and dance teams bring the streets alive.  Local Martial Arts teams give a terrific show of their unique disciplines, along with baton twirlers and gymnasts.  Car clubs show off their stuff with everything from Model T’s to Mini Cooper and motorcycle drill teams.  Several scout troops, chorus groups and community bands will also help you get into the festive spirit and the very last entry in the Parade is the Jolly Old Elf himself….Santa Clause!  He ushers in the Christmas season and sends us home to be with our friends and families to make cherished memories.

The Parade kicks off at 9am at El Lago and Saguaro. It marches down Saguaro to Palisades and then up to La Montana where it finishes at Parkview Avenue.  Bring chairs and dress warm!

Clients, Friends and Family of Sonoran Lifestyle Real Estate are invited to join us curbside at the corner of Avenue of the Fountains and Saguaro Boulevard.  We’ll have muffins and beverages for young and old alike.
