Fountain Hills has one of the largest and most dramatic public art collections in the southwest…more than 150 pieces, concentrated largely in Fountain Park and the Community Center/Library/Museum complex (Centennial Circle). The pieces in the Centennial Center area have QR codes so you can do a self-tour via smart phone. Docent-led walks are scheduled weekly during the winter months, and group tours are available by appointment. November 21: Paper Shred-a-thon at the Fountain Hills Public Library
Residents of Fountain Hills, Rio Verde, Tonto Verde and Fort McDowell are invited to shred up to four file boxes of paper per person in this free paper shredding event funded by the Fountain Hills Friends of the Library. The shredding truck will be in the library’s parking lot at the corner of El Lago Blvd. and La Montana Dr. from 9 a.m. until noon or until the truck is full. Continued monthly and located in the Community Center provides dozens of classes and recreational activities throughout the year.
