There’s no better place to celebrate the Wearin O’ the Green than Fount
ain Hills’ Fountain Park. Relax on the grass at the Amphitheater as the day unfolds with Irish music, contests, games for the kids, and—of course—great food and beer.
On, Friday, March 17th, at 9:00 am visit Sonoran Lifestyle Real Estate as we serve up Irish Coffees, Irish Pastries, and lots of shenanigans throughout the day. We’ll have green beads and other fun St. Patrick’s items to help you “get your green on!”
At 10:00 am, Magic Bird Festivals Presents: Fountain O’Green Artisan Market, that will be held on
the weekend of March 17th-19th. There will be 100 arts and crafts exhibitors, holiday themed vendors, live music, and dance performance are planned.
At 12:00 pm, stroll down to Fountain Park to watch the Greening O’ the Fountain and then make your way down Avenue of the Fountains to participate in the community activities.
At 3:00 pm, head to down to Parkview Ave, to celebrate Arch Mehaffey’s 2nd Annual Chili Cook Off. There will be food vendors, a beer tent, music, and loads of chili. The Annual Chili cook off will benefit Extended Hands Food Bank, and will host a food drive. If you are a chili fanatic, and love to make a mean bowl of chili, sign up to show off your cooking skills. There will be a cash prize for the best chili, and festivities will continue until 10:00 pm.
